National Mammography Day is observed the third Friday of October, according to a presidential proclamation in 1993 by President Bill Clinton. This proclamation is to remind women to schedule their mammogram.
To promote women to get mammograms for the purpose of early detection of breast cancer, one of our graphic designers created this funny cartoon about mammograms. While it’s known among women that mammograms are uncomfortable, they are still an important screening tool in detecting breast cancer.
This cartoon was hand drawn with pencil before being converted to a digital format, then colored. Our in-house cartoonist can design cartoons or characters to promote your business, organization, school, or events.
